In this code of conduct we describe the values that guide the corporate behavior of Mitschke Kunststoffwerk.
These values aim at creating an atmosphere at work characterized by integrity and respect, as well as fairness and responsibility in dealing with the environment and the people involved.

This code of conduct is mandatory for all staff and business partners of Mitschke Kunststoffwerk.

  1. We work with business partners who understand that abiding by the behavioral principles listed in these minimum standards is an important pillar for working together. Our common objectives: responsible use of resources, promoting employee rights, and improvements regarding the well-being of staff.
  2. All contacts between Mitschke Kunststoffwerk and our business partners are characterized by impartiality and keeping to decent business customs.
  3. We do not engage in accepting special privileges, any form of bribery, or improper payments.
  4. We ensure keeping the business secrets of our business partners safe and we protect all confidential business data that become accessible to us in the course of our relationship.
  5. Our staff are treated with respect and dignity. We protect and abide by human rights. The work environment must be devoid of intolerance and prejudices or punishment in case of complaints.
  6. We will not tolerate physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment or abuse of our staff members.
  7. We firmly believe that diversity and equality in the work place must be practiced in accordance with the regulations of the General Equal Treatment Act. We strictly oppose every kind of discrimination due to race or ethnic origin, sex, religion, ideology, disability, age, or sexual identity.
  8. All our staff members are paid promptly and receive at least the minimum wage required according to state law.
  9. We do not tolerate forced labor and strictly oppose child labor.
  10. We comply with all applicable laws regarding working hours.
  11. Our work environment is safe and not harmful to the health of employees.
  12. We protect human health and the environment by strictly meeting all regulatory requirements, including those regarding work place safety, air emissions, solid and hazardous wastes, and water discharge.
  13. We will take sensible measures in order to decrease or avoid any negative impacts of our operations on the environment and will strive to continuously improve our environmental performance.

The principles listed in this code of conduct can only be achieved if everyone involved cooperates–everyone is required to personally make sure these principles are maintained in their area of responsibility.
